Swivel inlets with FDNY-compatible thread. UVFDC-2W and UVFDC-3W inlets are female swivel with 2.5 inch NH with FDNY-specific thread (NYC thread) for standard 2-way and 3-way inlets. Code and listing acceptance for New York

NYC Building Code Chapter 9. NYC Building Code Chapter 9 references NFPA 14 Section 8.17 (standpipe FDC) and NFPA 13 Section 8.17 (sprinkler FDC) for combined-system FDC placement. FDC shall be located not less than 18 inches and not more than 48 inches above grade per NFPA 14 Section 8.17.3 and shall be visible and accessible to the fire department within 100 ft of a fire lane or paved access per NFPA 14 Section 8.17.4.

NFPA 13 Section 8.17 sprinkler FDC.
